Chairman Kamel Ghribi was among the distinguished delegates attending the Russian Energy Week Forum. Held in Moscow from the 3rd – 7th of October the event was hailed as a world-class industry-based business communication platform. The Forum’s primary foucs was of course on energy issues, and GK Investment Holding Group’s primary interest was in the core sectors of oil, gas, petrochemical industries and renewable energy.

Kamel Ghribi used the platform to enter into discussions with some of the major players in the market such as Rosneft, where potential trading avenues between the two companies were explored. During a chat with the honourable Mr. Igor Sechin, more specific details were discussed concerning the future collaboration between Rosneft and GK Investment Holding Group.

Another important discussion was held with H.E. Salim bin Nasser Al-Aufi – Undersecretary, Ministry of Oil & Gas - the Sultanate of Oman. The GK Chairman was also privileged to have had the opportunity to discuss some new initiatives with the Hon. Dr. Samual Undenge (M.P.) Minister of Energy in Zimbabwe; as well as catching up with his old acquaintance H.E. Ambassador Yousuf Issa Al Zadjali - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation.
