GK Investment Holding Chairman Kamel Ghribi accompanied a high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates to Palazzo Giuresconsulti in Milan, where they were welcomed by the Milan Municipal Police Commander Marco Ciacci and presented with an Honorary Nobis Urbem Commendant shield. The UAE Ambassador to Italy, H.E. Saqer Nasser Al-Raisi, headed the delegation which comprised of H.E. Abdalla Al Shamsi, Consul General of the UAE in Milan; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of the Interior (UAE); General Riccardo Amato of the Italian Army Corps and Commander of the Pastregno Division of the Carabinieri; Air Force Brigadier General Silvano Frigerio and Chief Commissioner of the Milan Municipal Police, Roberto Fazzini.

The aim of the visit was to exchange ideas and experiences in the field of security and safety. In particular, the visit was an opportunity to examine the latest developments and advances in equipment and security solutions currently being developed in Italy to increase homeland security and citizen safety. Ever concerned about the increasing threat posed to Governments and private entities alike from security breaches and data loss, GK Chairman Kamel Ghribi understands the importance of taking effective measures against cybercrimes.

The Trading and Communications arm of GK Investment Holding Group was set up to support start-up companies operating within the field of security and safety. Chairman Mr. Ghribi discussed the collaboration options available for the UAE and Italian firms specialising in COMSEC technology and is keen to support emerging and start-up companies from Italy who are in a position to offer customised and integrated services to clients, such the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. GK Chairman Kamel Ghribi was also invited to attend the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) in March 2018 in Dubai.

This international event is co-organised by the UAE Ministry of Interior and is a unique opportunity to connect ‘regional government bodies, homeland security and law enforcement officers, professionals and buyers with international security solution providers and manufacturers.’ The perfect opportunity for Italian firms to network as the event provides experts and decision makers the possibility of pre-scheduling meetings with exhibiting companies and meet face to face during the event.
