Inauguration of Bahrain Embassy in Abu Dhabi

Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed, Khalid Al Khalifa inaugurated the new Bahrain embassy building in Abu Dhabi on Monday, March 19, 2018. Chairman Kamel Ghribi congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrein, and his United Arab Emirates counterpart the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the strong ties between their respective nations and people.

Particular attention was given to the strengthening of the already deep-rooted historic brotherly relations present between the two countries. The new premises of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Abu Dhabi were inaugurated in the presence of Royals, Ministers, Senior Members of Government and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Officials from both countries in addition to the Heads of Diplomatic Missions in the United Arab Emirates.

On the occasion, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, expressed his thanks and appreciation to a host of eminent guests including His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. H.E. the Minister used this opportunity to highlight the unlimited support shown to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the numerous directives undertaken for the benefit of citizens and the provision of excellent services both within the UAE and abroad.

Affirming that the ministry will continue pushing policies and implement its plan to establish embassies of the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with the development of diplomatic missions, that will aim to maintain the positive image that reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain's renaissance and prosperity in various fields and enhance its position at regional and international levels. During the opening ceremony, a documentary was screened, entitled "Bahrain and the UAE deep-rooted brotherly relations." Guests at the ceremony also toured an exhibition of historical photographs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
