Kamel Ghribi with Massad Fares Boulos, U.S. Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs
GKSD & GSD Chairman Kamel Ghribi attended the 10th edition of the MED Mediterranean Dialogues in Rome. In response to the fact that much of the future prosperity of the wider Mediterranean region will depend on how health challenges are addressed, Kamel Ghribi commented: “Today, we have gathered to reflect on the significant role that the Mediterranean region must take on during what is now recognised as a pivotal moment in history. This region has the power to act as a bridge that can unite Europe and Africa in the shared pursuit of health and well-being. At GKSD & GSD we believe that the only effective response to health crises is through robust public-private partnerships. Nations and organisations must join forces and build resilient health systems that can weather inevitable future challenges. I am honoured to have been invited to participate at the MED Dialogues. GKSD and GSD have long recognised that through health diplomacy we can forge enduring partnerships, share knowledge, and promote equitable health policies that deliver a real and tangible service to communities.”
