Dinner in honour of the president of Mauritania and the president of Niger

Enhanced cooperation between Southern Europe and Northern Africa is vital for economic stability, peace and long term development. Strengthening connectivity infrastructure with Europe and general development of infrastructure in Africa  will result in economic uplift, address social issues of illegal immigration and terrorism and create positive impact in Africa and Europe.

The Mediterranean Dialogues conference in Rome today, echoes the importance of this sentiment. President of the Italian Republic, His excellency President Sergio Mattarella, the visiting President of Nigeria and the President of Mauritania spoke about greater cooperation between the continents to address the energy crisis and other key issues.
